There is nothing better than breathing underwater for the first time. It takes a little getting used to, after all, human beings are not designed to do this, but after a few minutes of surprise, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge that the instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not to lure the participants into the water, but to motivate them to come out when the program is over. The fun part? It’s all fun!

• Duration of activity: 3.5 hours.

• Beginners’ qualifications required:
  • 8 years minimum age (2m depth maximum)
  • 10 years minimum age (12m depth maximum)

Swim over reefs, observe marine life up close and feel the absolute freedom in the water. Ideal for young and old, for relaxation but also for adventure. Snorkeling is the ideal activity for those who want to get to know the underwater environment without previous experience. With the appropriate information-theory at our diving center before entering the water you will be able to carry out this activity.

In the Padi Scuba Diver course, the instructor will teach you all the techniques required to become a good scuba diver. By holding daily theoretical sessions at the diving center, before entering the water, you will understand even better the value of organized preparation for a dive. After the theoretical lesson, you will enter confined waters (or a swimming pool) where, together with the instructor, you will complete all the necessary Padi exercises. At the same time, you will also do an exploration dive in the surrounding area where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of the crystal clear waters of Halkidiki.

Without rushing and having as much time as you need, you can complete the theoretical e-learning module. The Padi Scuba Diver certificate is just the beginning of the experience. As a certified scuba diver, you get to know great experiences, do something unusual and impress others. As you continue the adventure, you gather experiences to continue at higher levels where opportunities and pleasure multiply.

Next level Padi Emergency First Response. Emergency First Response primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments of a life-threatening emergency.

During the face-to-face training with an EFR instructor, you will learn how to perform CPR, provide pain-relieving first aid, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses, and practice applying bandages and splints.

• Completion days and times: 1 day (2 hours).

  • Daily rental of necessary equipment to complete emergency drills (provided by our dive center).
• Required qualifications:
  • 12 years old.

As you leave the EFR behind you move on to the practical part of EFR, which is Rescue. Get ready to put everything you learned in your EFR into practice and more.

The fun part of this course is facing the challenges and conquering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end say it is the best course they have ever taken. 10 different rescue scenarios are created and you must learn them perfectly. You increase your confidence and are ready to act if necessary.

Having read the e-learning and doing practical courses in the open sea, you better understand the importance of being a Rescue Diver.

To complete the Padi Rescue Diver, 10 rescue scenarios are required:

1. Rescue a tired diver.
2. Rescue a panicked diver.
3. Shore/Boat/Dock Response
4. Diver in distress underwater.
5. Rescue of missing diver.
6. Transport of unconscious diver.
7. Rescue of unconscious diver.
8. Extrication of unconscious diver.
9. First aid for injuries and oxygen administration.
10. Shore/Boat Response to unresponsive diver.

Are you looking for the first step to working with diving as a career? Your adventure to the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the Padi Divemaster program. Working closely with a Padi instructor, in this program you expand your diving knowledge and hone your skills at a professional level. The Padi Divemaster training develops your leadership skills, giving you the qualifications to supervise diving activities and assist instructors with student divers.

Having read the e-learning and doing practical lessons in the open sea, at the end of the training you will be able to teach theoretical and practical lessons to beginners always under the supervision of your instructor.

To complete the Padi Divemaster in brief the following is required:

1. Skills exercises in the water.

    

2. Emergency action plan.
3. Completion of theoretical and practical training seminars.
4. Throughout the school, at least 20 dives are required with the instructor and his students.
5. Equipment preparation and organization of the diving team.

• Completion days and times: 1 month.
• Number of dives: at least 20 dives.

• Required qualifications:
  • 15 years old for Junior Divemaster.
  • 18 years old for Divemaster.
    At least 40 registered dives already.
  • Must have completed the EFR within 24 months.
